Designer Chris Martin pictures this asymmetrical piece as either an occasional table or an elegant base for a lamp, vase or sculpture. BIT juxtaposes two broad planes, separated by a thinner, hollow laminated column for a striking bit of interior architecture. Faultlessly crafted in solid wood, it examples the out-of-the ordinary thinking that characterizes maker Massproductions, the much-admired longtime collaboration between Martin and partner Magnus Elebäck.
