Milan designer Francesco Faccin’s solid-ash armchair features a simple stretched leather or fabric seat, an elegantly reductive construction reflected in its name, which literally translates to €œskin and bones.€ Combining the best of traditional workmanship and modern production methods, Pelleossa is produced with a conventional €œturn and copy€ lathing technique, where the repetition of only 2 diameters optimizes the usable material. The seating’s expressive detailing includes its finely turned arms and the way the backrest tilts out slightly for comfort at the top.
