The Tired Man Lounge Chair

Description

Flemming Lassen saw his overstuffed easy chair as a big bear hug—literally. He likened sitting in the The Tired Man’s original sheepskin-covered contours to feeling, “as warm and safe as a polar bear cub in the arms of its mother in the middle of the ice cap.” Metaphor aside, the chair created a sensation with its ample curves and voluminous armrests when it debuted in 1935 and it continues to be a seating standout in a range of luxurious materials along with its optional matching footrest (also at A+R).
