Description

Jagged line lines and rough-hewn shapes suggest the urban basin of Tuxtepec, the second largest city in the Mexican state of Oaxaca—and the hometown of designer Jezarley Miguel’s mother (her father’s home inspired the San Miguel el Grande rug). The area is known for piña miel, a sweet pineapple that is the basis of the colorway in this style.
