Type 75 Desk Lamp: Paul Smith Edition Three

With Edition Three of his eponymous Anglepoise series, British designer Paul Smith elects the primary palette favored by the Dutch artist Mondrian. This recolored version of the Type 75 Desk Lamp evokes the painter’s century-old De Stijl school of abstraction, the introduction timed to coincide with the movement’s centennial in 2017. This take on the iconic British adjustable-arm lamp, with its clear signal colors, looks just as dynamic today.
